I'll have to clean the dishes in the holidays.

My main job at home is to:

1. Translate for my parents. (But I don't write to them, I just read the English and tell them in Cantonese.)

2. Bring them to places where they need someone to speak for them.

3. Find out good restaurants and bring them there.

4. Maintain the home server and networking so that my parents have access to Chinese entertainment 24/7 on any computers, TV and phones they are using. Maintain basically anything that has electronics in it.

I also maintain the basic plumbing, pest control and do minor DIY home project.

I can cook, but cooking is not my role becasue I am not as good as my parents in cooking.

Different skill, different role.
