Privately owned food wholesaler who has been in business for over 50 years at Regency Park.
Food importer and distributor of mixed food items/goods.
Customers are restaurants, takeaway outlets, independent supermarkets, and other wholesalers.
We Currently seeking 2 positions.
Warehouse Manager
Duties and responsibilities
Manage a small team.
Lead and manage the warehouse team people including recruiting, training and development, and mentoring activities.
Communication effectively and liaise with management and sales team members to ensure any relevant issues are being addressed in a timely manner.
Maintain good condition of the warehouse, inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repairs where applicable. Maintain the fleet of trucks, forklifts, and warehouse areas and report issues for the purpose of ensuring a safe and efficient workplace
Maintain stock in-store and bulk warehouse, ensure stocks is stored according to requirement. Overseeing the unloading of container stock, unloading of delivery trucks, and receipting.
Managing the dispatch of goods in and out, storage, picking, packing, container unloading and putting away, repackaging products.
Managing transport allocations and route planning for local deliveries.
Ensuring inventory control, maintaining relevant documentation, and reconciling discrepancies
Ensuring company policy and procedures, work health safety standards, and HACCP are adhered to.
Minimum requirements for the role are:
Current Truck Drivers Licence
Current Forklift Licence
Excellent communication and motivational skills
A strong work ethic with a ‘can do’ and calm attitude
A desire to make a positive impact on our company
Availability must be flexible as hours may vary
2. MR Truck Driver and Normal Driver (4.5-tonne truck)
Duties and responsibilities
Driving an MR truck to Adelaide metropolitan locations and some regional areas.
Multi-stop hand unloads of food items/goods.
Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions.
Ensure correct, secure, and safe loading of vehicles.
Complete and supply mandatory run sheet information in the format required.
Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times.
Comply with all WHS regulations and driving regulations.
Minimum requirements for the role are:
MR license / Normal license
Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Awareness of the Adelaide metropolitan area
Have experience driving trucks for over 2 years
A fantastic work ethic and motivated attitude
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Provide a recent driver's licence report
