Located in Thebarton home improvement company operating since 2014. We are seeking a part time assistant accountant undertake work using XERO. This position will be working for 3 days a week, 20 hours to 25 hours. Position Description: - Prepare internal recharges and customer invoices
- Dealing with customers regarding enquiries about their accounts
- Bank reconciliation to all accounts
- General administrative tasks
- Data entry, filing, preparation of ad-hoc reports
- Assist and support accounts payable and receivables and take action as required
- Assist and support payroll as required
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following; - Sound computer knowledge and able to pick up new computer systems quickly
- Reliable, team player, with a can-do attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritise projects and activities
- Outstanding attention to detail, time management, and organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Advantage but not essential for this role: - Previous experience with accounting software.
