1847 Wines is going through a period of rapid transformation and we are looking for an accountant to join our Finance team reporting to the Finance Manager.

The Company
1847 Wines is a brand that continues to grow from strength to strength combining over many years industry experience with a dynamic and fast paced culture. 1847 Wines has now grown to encompass 140 hectares of estate vineyards that are the source of the majority of our premium wine portfolio. We operates both Chateau Yaldara and 1847 Winery, and are sold globally and has manufacturing, wholesale and retail operations.

The Role

You will be a qualified accountant, with experience working with the manufacturing sector essential. You will be responsible for the following critical tasks:

Update and maintain the Average Costing System
Budgeting and Forecasting
Be familiar with finance operations that is inclusive of quarterly board packs, tax compliance, FBT, BAS, payroll tax, reconciliations
Review compliance documentation
Month-end reporting
Cashflow forecasting and management
Assisting the Finance Manager in liaising with external auditors and banks
Accounts payable and receivable
Staff reimbursement

Your Profile

You will have relevant qualification and three years work experience. You will also possess the following key qualifications/skills.

CA/CPA/CICPA qualified are preferable
Experience working in the manufacturing sector or import and export trade/industry
Exemplary communication skills - will be liaising daily with senior management
Strong at setting up processes and streamlining procedures
Team player, flexible working style and adaptive
